2017 Montreal Motorcycle Show

In January we made a trip out to Toronto to visit the Toronto Motorcycle Super Show.  It’s definitely a big show, with a lot of motorcycles a gear that you can try and and buy.  But, for those of us in Ottawa it is a fairly long drive and it makes it a weekend adventure (in the middle of winter).  The Montreal show, even though it is a little smaller, is only 2 hours away, making it easily a day trip.

If you are looking at sitting on as many bikes as you can then this is a great show to attend.  With the majority of the bike manufacturers there (Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, Harley Davidson, KTM, Ducati, Indian, Victory, plus more) you can get a great feel for possibly your next bike.

The Montreal show has an expected attendance of 30+ thousand people through the 3 days.  So this show can be busy.  Plan your time to attend well.

Now the other side of attending a Motorcycle show is the vendors.  And to be honest I find this show to be a little light in those regards. Sure you can possibly stumble on the odd deal for an item that you probably weren’t looking for any way but we have walked away from this show almost every year with nothing.  Which is kind to bad.  Would love to see some of the brands bring their own merchandise to these shows, pretty sure they could sell a ridiculous amount of t-shirts at a show like this.

Will we go next year?  Of course!  It’s a great way to spend the day, especially in the middle of winter.  And really who doesn’t love sitting on new motorcycles!
