So many of you may have noticed that I have previously bought and shown the Vivitar DVR 787HD action cam. Actually my wife purchased it for me for Xmas for $69. Well Ive tried it and for that price was very happy with the quality and all the mounts that came with the camera.
So last week Walmart.com put these cams on sale for $39!!! So I bought another one. A nice Red one. So I went and picked it up this past Friday. I tried it out and it works great just like my other one except for one small difference. And its a good difference.
Yes Vivitar has changed the case on the DVR 787HD or at least the one that I received has something different.

Is the version with the modified case the one available on Walmart’s web site (deliverable to Walmart in Ogdensburg)?
The one I bought was from walmart and yes it was delivered to Ogdensburg. But my guess is that it all depends on which version they send you as I’ve heard some are still getting the other case. Either way though for the price you can’t really go wrong. Great little camera for the price.
Yes they are on clearance and back down to under $40 US. Did you buy the SD card from them as well? If so which one? Any comments on the SD cards?
no, i didn’t buy the micro SD card as I had a couple already. But if you don’t already have one I would grab a 16 gig if they have one at a good price.
