Not sure what to say in regards to this … Be aware the video is just raw footage directly from the Akaso Brave 7 with Akaso External Mic connected … Yesterday when the Akaso Brave 7 showed up I was just so excited to give it a try, so before the rain started to pour down today I mounted the Akaso Brave 7 to my helmet attached the Akaso USBC mic and headed out for a short ride. First thing with the Akaso Brave 7 is that it is about the same width as the LE and the Brave 6 Plus. I was definitely hoping for wider. But the actual image quality of the Akaso Brave 7 is pretty good. Pretty much on par with what I was expecting and about the same as the LE and the Brave 6 Pro. But my real hope was that the audio with the external mic attached to the Akaso Brave 7 would be amazing. And ummmm, not really. There is just something wrong with the audio gain control or something. When you use the external mic and you are at a slower speed and it’s not that loud out. The mic sounds quite good. But once you started revving the bike and you really start getting up to speed the audio in the Akaso Brave 7 starts to break apart. I’m hoping that this is something that can be fixed with a firmware update. Fingers crossed. Stay tuned tomorrow, hopefully, as I give some of my thoughts on the new Akaso Brave 7. Should you buy it? We will talk about that tomorrow.
