As many of you may know, one of my biggest goals is to ride across Canada in one direction and ride back through the US. This way I can say that I’ve ridden across both countries from coast to coast. That ride (when i actually get around to doing it) will be designed around great roads and hopefully out-of-the-way locations.
But I stumbled across the following article (bottom of page) that provides a pretty slick road map for a complete circular trip around the US. So no matter where you start the trip you will end up back where you started. Time wise I would think somewhere between 3-4 weeks would be need to accomplish this trip depending on what kind of distance you put on per day and really how much time you want to actually enjoy the destinations. If it’s all about the ride then im sure you can get through this much faster.
This trip was again designed with the destinations in mind, not the roads. Would love to see a map setup very similar to this which takes you to some of the best roads that the US and Canada have to offer!
Don’t be fooled by imitations.
