LeadEdge LE8000 | Is Cheapest Action Cam With External Mic Support Any Good? Well, that really is the question. This will probably be video one in a multi-video series that looks at this camera and tries to decide if the LeadEdge LE8000 action camera is worth the price. I’m sure for those on a budget it could be a great option. But it really depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for GoPro quality you aren’t going to get it. But for the money, you do get external mic support and the audio from the external mic is a huge bonus. Should you spend your money on the LeadEdge LE8000 action camera. Really up to you. I hope to do one or two more videos in regards to the LeadEdge LE8000 action camera. One to look at the menu and the app. And another one this spring when we can take the camera out on the motorcycle to see how well it does.
