Man I’m just pushing out the vids this week!!! So for the past 2 days (during the week) Ive taken the bike out for a nice ride. The other day was to Merrickville with my buddy Peter, and today I decided that I would do a nice solo ride up to Champlain Lookout in Gatineau Park, Quebec.
I had only actually been up to the lookout once previously and wasn’t exactly sure on how to get there, so during the video you will hear my GPS prompting me with directions. This is SO useful!! There are so many turnoffs in Gatineau Park, that its easy to end up taking the wrong one. Also when coming home from the lookout my GPS wanted to get me on the highway as quick as possible, which I did not want to do, so I ended up ignoring it a lot, but needless to say I got home.
This is a fantastic road, with a lot of curves. Speed is 60kms, and yes you could go faster, but there are a lot of cyclists on the road, so you need to watch out for them.
Enjoy!!
