For those of us that live in Canada, we are forced to spend many months away from our beloved motorcycles. Many of us (including myself) can not wait until the weather is even somewhat close to being rideable in the spring. To finally be able to bring our bikes out after the seemingly endless winter. But are we ready. Have we lost a little bit of the feel for our bike. Should we possibly do some practicing before we head out into traffic? There are many refresher courses out there and I know that next year I will definitely take at least one of them. I’ll be doing my M class course next year, as well as hopefully the ‘experienced riders course’ that is offered in my area. Gathering more skill and knowledge is never a bad thing, and one day it could save your life. Ride safe!
If it’s been a while before you’ve taken a spin on your motorbike, police say it may be a good idea to take a few minutes to practise key skills you need to the road.
