We have used U-Haul many times over the past few years. And the experience has never been great. It’s really never been good, it’s just been adequate. So as a lot of our viewers know, we are moving and so we needed a storage unit that we could use temporarily to hold a fair bit of boxes and items while our house was being set up and put on the market. After the house sold, we would bring these boxes home to get ready for our move out east. We choose U-Haul strictly based on price. But I guess you get what you pay for. But in this case, we didn’t even get that. I really couldn’t have imagined how bad and incompetent things would have gotten. Every time we thought that things couldn’t get worse, U-Haul decided to show us that yes, they can make it worse! And they did this repeatedly. This experience has definitely made us decide not to use U-Haul for anything in the future. And I get that for a lot of people it’s your only choice. And at that point, there really isn’t an option. But if there are options. Definitely check them out. And maybe this is just an issue in the city that we live in. But we have used 3 different locations. None were great, but this one was by far the worst. Unacceptable!
Hopefully, someone from U-Haul watches this video and tries to figure out how to make their stores work better.
