Riding downtown is and can be fun as my previous post shows (coming down Colonel By), but coming home is always just as fun. The way home I chose was coming down the River Parkway here in Ottawa. This is a two lane road which of course means that there can be much more traffic and you have to be a lot more watchful, but on the flip side it can also allow for you to get a bit more speed, not a lot more as the speed is only 60 kms. But just like Colonel By the Parkway is really nice and scenic and makes again for a lovely ride.
