A couple of weeks ago I went out on my first crusade to find myself some dirt roads to ride on. To see if the VStrom felt different riding on dirt then my old cruiser did. After an afternoon of riding on dirt I was extremely happy with the bikes performance. Now I wasn’t doing anything crazy, but it just felt comfortable, as if it was just as at home on this terrain as it was on the road.
The other day I went out again. This time it was a longer trip and the scenery was amazing as the fall colours were in full effect. I missed filming a deer on the side of the road by 10 seconds as I spotted the deer just moments after I had turned off my camera. So Close! I find the whole experience of riding on the back roads more calming as it is really just you and the road. You almost never see cars so it can be just you, the road and your thoughts for miles and miles. Which is just amazing.
Well here’s a quick video of my ride. I’m sure there will be some more. Or at least thats what I hope for, as each day now is a bonus. Season is coming close to it’s end and the days are getting shorter and colder.
