Riding a motorcycle has taught me that it is fairly important to know how your bike works and to be able to at least do some of the basic repairs and maintenance that your bike requires over the course of a season.
Because of this owning your own tools is something that each one of us needs to invest in. And I’ve been doing this slowly. Recently I wanted to buy a torque wrench as my bike needs frequent chain adjustments and no one wants their rear wheel or any other nut at the wrong torque.
With a little online searching, I came across a 1/2″ torque wrench from Princess Auto here in Ottawa. I’m pretty sure they ship anywhere in Canada. But really its important to look around the internet for a good price (if that’s really important to you).
I have used this wrench many times now to adjust the chains on our V-Stroms as well as changing our tires (on our cars) from summer to winters. So far so Good. For the price, it seems like it is a great addition to our toolkit.
