I’m a firm believer that you need to do everything you can to be seen while on a motorcycle, which is why I’ve started wearing high viz gear. But adding some extra lights to your bike can definitely help as well. When I had my Vulcan Nomad I wanted to add some extra lights, but never got around to it. Now that I have my Suzuki V-Strom I have been on the look out for some LED lights. My wife has some 3″ lights on her V-Strom and I really liked how they both looked and performed.
Searching around online I came across lights that ran from $50 all the way to hundreds of dollars. Then one day on amazon I stumbled on these. The Lightfox 4″ 18w LED Cree lights. Pretty much exactly what I wanted.
I paid $19 for the (Canadian), but have seen them now on Amazon.com for $13US. That’s crazy! What a fantastic deal!
