Dynex Mic Test + DIY Dead Cat

So I bought a new microphone that I could use while riding, but I wanted something that I could use while wearing my half helmet.  SO the problem as per the usual was wind noise.  The mic was definitely picking me up, but the wind noise was dominant.  I decided that I would attempt to make my own Dead Cat.  I went to Walmart and $7 later I had all the fixings for what would be my home-made Dead Cat.

How were the results?  I’m exceptionally happy with it!!  I’m actually somewhat surprised at how good this works!  So if you want to see a comparison, check out my last post in regards to ” how many CCs do you need ” which was recorded without the DIY Dead Cat. This one is way better!

Enjoy!
