So over the last few years I have taken my little girl out with me on my motorcycle for rides around the town but really, nothing too extensive or far in distance. This year though we wanted to take some longer rides together and because I have a bigger bike this year it was something that will be much more likely. So because of that, I wanted to make sure that she had some proper gear for when she was riding with me. So she usually wears a Jean jacket and she does have some textile riding pants, Which she wears right now. But I really wanted her to have a leather jacket, just in case we ended up going down for whatever reason.
So what I found particularly hard was actually finding gear for small kids. My daughter is nine years old, And I really wouldn’t consider her to be a small kid. But again finding gear for her can be somewhat of a challenge. So I ended up going online and searching around for some time, and I ended up finding this website called Jafrum.com. The nice thing about this site is that they do have a kids/Youth section which has a fair bit of motorcycle gear including things like jackets, chaps, vests, helmets, gloves and things like that.
So I ended up buying her and myself a new jacket. I want to my previous posts I talked with the jacket that I received, but this one is all about the leather jacket that was purchased for her.
So the jacket came to about $59 and if you spend over $89 dollars with this company they ship within the US for free which is use a nice thing. Which was one of the reasons that I ended up buying both coats so that I could get the free shipping. Anyways I would have to say that the coat is a fantastic value. It is a little short in length but size wise it fits very well we ended up getting her a 3XL which would be considered quite big, But our hopes are that she’ll get a couple of years out of this jacket. This really is just a small version of the adult equivalent. And I really don’t think that anyone who buys this jacket can go wrong.
