So I’m not even a hundred percent sure why I picked one of these up, other than the fact that it was only like $4 with free shipping. Of course this was ordered from Amazon.ca this time so not Amazon.com and came from are good friends over in China, so of course this meant that my shipping was absolutely free.
So again not a hundred percent sure why or if I will need this anytime soon, But I do think it’s amazing to have with me just in case. I do have a tendency to want to carry a fair bit of stuff with me at any given time when I’m on the bike, Not so much when I’m just going back-and-forth to work, But when I am going out on day rides and things like that. So I figure spending four dollars to have something to secure a backpack or duffel bag onto my rear seat was a worthy investment.
So it took about three or four weeks for me to get this in the mail and to be completely honest I wasn’t even sure when I picked up the mail that it was the bungee net. As I have a fair bit of things on order now. But here it is, and I’m sure it’ll do the job just fine. The only concern is that the coating on the hooks are not as rubberized as I was hoping for, But what can you expect for $4.
So the season is coming to an end shortly as the weather has not been overly great, the lows are quite cool right now, just slightly above zero. The highs though aren’t horrible as they can range from 10°C up to 15 and 16°C. So if I get a chance I will strap a bag to my rear seat and give the net a thorough test.
