Sena looks to have released a pretty nice piece of software that allows users of their communication Bluetooth headsets to talk with each other pretty much anywhere on the planet! It is down of course once your smartphone is paired with the SENA Bluetooth headset.
This software is fairly simple in concept and uses either WiFi or Cellular data to communicate with other riders… Anywhere! I’m eager to see if other companies start coming out with this kind of software. I guess you could just use something like facetime audio to do the same thing.
The big thing to remember is that this can and probably will, for the most part, be using cellular data. So make sure you have lots of it, and if you are roaming then this could possibly cost you a fair amount! I guess we will have to wait and see.
