I picked up some new gear yesterday from a local store here in Ottawa called Dreamcycle. I was looking at the weather for the next week and it looked like there could definitely be some rain coming our way. I just bought a rain suit, but from previous experiences I realized that the more rain gear you have the better. As Im pretty sure none of us like ridding around being cold and wet.
So I ended up buying two new pieces of gear.
The first one was Gears Dri Tek Water Proof Rain Mitts
These (actually both things I bought) are designed to go over your existing gear. So I would simply put these on over top of my existing gloves, which would keep the rain and wind off of them. Definitely a plus.
Second was the Gears Ripple Rubber Sole Rain Boot Cover
Just like the above Mitts, these are designed to be worn over your motorcycle boots or shoes. Nice rubber sole and completely sealed.
Not that Im looking forward to it raining anytime soon, but when it does I’m glad that I am now fully prepared for it.
