Well my wife wasn’t far behind me. Not 2 weeks and Mary has moved away from her beloved 2000 Yamaha V-Star 1100 to her 2004 Suzuki V-Strom 650. The stars all moved into place for her as we needed to sell my previous bike (Vulcan Nomad) and her bike to ensure the we had enough to buy this bike. And somehow magically have it all happen within days of each other so that Mary wouldn’t be without a bike. Some how the stars all aligned and it all happened!
We ended up driving about 5 hours away so find the bike that she wanted, and I would say that it was completely worth it. She found an amazing deal. We’ve been able to move some accessories from her V-Star to the V-Strom. And just the other day we put on some new Shinko 705 tires.
Not sure if we have many long rides coming up this season, but we are definitely all ready for next season!
