Installing My New Starter on My Hyosung GV250

So as you have hopefully read or watched, as of last week my Hyosung GV250 was not agreeing with me and did not want to start.  So I bought a new battery, which didn’t help, checked all the cables, didn’t help and finally removed the starter to see that the starter seal had failed and the actual starter was completely full of motor oil.

Anyways after only 4 days my starter had arrived (so impressed with HyosungSource.com as their delivery time from South Korea is crazy fast).  So picked up up from Canada Post after work and brought it home to install.  The install was super fast as I had everything ready and to be honest there was only 2 screws to put back in and 1 screw to attach the ground wire.

I was of course a little concerned that this was still not going to fix anything as everything else that I had done failed.  But this had to be the issue as the starter was full of oil!!

Anyways after only a couple of minutes the starter was ready and everything was back in their proper place.  Now to attempt the start.  BOOM!!!!  She started right away, and to be completely honest this was the best I think she had ever started.

Here is a short video of the actual install.  Hope you enjoy!
