I like to add little pieces of electronics to my bike all the time. The biggest problem that I have, and I’m sure many people have, is that we have no idea how much these electronics are pulling in regards to power. Is my charging system strong enough to charge everything or am I slowly draining my battery? I decided to go get myself a little voltage meter from amazon, which I could plug in to see how my battery was doing. And to be completely honest they aren’t that expensive, so really, why shouldn’t you have one.
